Guitar For Adults

It seems like everyone has picked up a guitar at one point in their life, and for whatever reason, had to put the instrument down.  Maybe you have always wanted to learn guitar, but never had access to an instrument.  Perhaps you had a guitar in the house lying around, but no one willing to teach you.  It could be you tried to learn guitar when you were younger, but it seemed too hard or your music teacher was not that good.  With our Guitar for Adults class, you will get the opportunity to finally pick up the guitar and be able to play your favorite melodies or strum the chords to your favorite songs you always wanted to play!

This class is for the complete beginner.  It will take you through all the basic concepts for playing the guitar. Participants will learn how to properly hold and tune the guitar.  You will develop guitar picking technique and learn to play basic scales and chords. Lastly, you will get to work on popular music by artists who immortalized the guitar to begin with.  The course will also cover the basics for reading music notation and understanding rhythm charts.  Participants will also develop the ability to learn how to read chord & scale diagrams and much more!

Don’t have a guitar you say? Rent one from us to take home for the course!  Even if you have never been interested in music or guitar, it’s still a good idea to take music lessons for the myriad of benefits music can provide, not to mention the health benefits it has on the aging adult brain or to reduce the amount of stress you may be experiencing.

It is never, ever too late to pick up an instrument. But, you have to take the first step.  Jump on board TODAY!
