Trial Online Music Lessons

SMMC’s trial online music lessons is a great option for anyone who is not ready for a one month commitment. By booking a trial online music lesson, you will have the experience to make an informed decision if online learning is a good option for you or your child/student.

When you register for a trial class, an SMMC staff member will contact you to discuss pairing you with a teacher for your preferred lesson availability and instrument of your choosing.  Once a day and time is agreed upon, you will receive a password protected Zoom link so you can connect for the lesson with your music teacher.  Our knowledgeable staff can help answer any questions you may have about setting up your device before the start of your lesson.  If you don’t own an instrument, we have them available to rent from our online store!

Our staff of qualified instructors hold, at minimum, bachelor degrees in music for their respective instruments and have years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels.  SMMC is currently registering students for:

  • Piano – all levels and styles
  • Guitar/Bass Guitar- Acoustic, electric, Classical, Rock/Pop & Jazz
  • Strings – violin, viola & cello
  • Voice – all levels and styles
  • Drums – all levels and styles
  • Ukulele – all levels and styles
  • Brass – trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium
  • Winds – clarinet, flute, saxophone, oboe

Should you decide to continue with lessons after your trial class, you can contact the Center to set up monthly lessons.  Generally, lessons are purchased as a month to month commitment and there are no long term contracts for lesson enrollment.  Students meet with their teacher for weekly sessions on the same day/time each week.  If a class needs to be reschedule, we offer convenient make-up options for the cancelled lesson when notified in advance of the cancelation.

Online music lessons are also discounted by 15% when you purchase 4 lessons or more in any given month!
