Guitarist & Vocalist, Eres K.
Eres has been taking guitar & voice lessons with SMMC since 2018. In March of last year, she and her brother Asher (who studies guitar at SMMC as well) both switched to online lessons. They continued to study with their music teachers online since the start of the shutdowns. Earlier this year, as their teachers became fully vaccinated, we have welcomed both Eres and her brother back to in-person lessons!
As her vocal coach Ms. Valerie puts it, “From the very first lesson I have always found Ms. Eres’s talent, energy and her open-mindedness to learn more about her instrument remarkable for someone her age. Even through the shift to online learning, Eres’s artistic progress made quite an impression on me. Working with Eres is such an adventure. Her bright and cheery personality is contagious and so her lessons are always abundantly fun to teach. In addition to her bright disposition, she’s very vocal about her musical interests and comes prepared with music that challenges her both technically and cognitively. I am truly inspired by her progress and am excited to be a part of her musical journey. I will enjoy continuing to work with her and see her grow as the exceptional vocalist I know she can be.“
