Description

SuperSlick Silk Flute Swab is necessary to keep your flute free from moisture after use. The material and shape of the cloth make it easy to push the swab through the barrel and absorb the moisture from inside. Inferior swabs tend to get stuck in the barrel. Don’t settle for that! The silk swab glides easily to prevent from such a thing happening to your flute.

The swab is made of 100% silk. This is a naturally absorbent material and will soak up moisture from your instrument better than any other material on the market. It’s even more absorbent than cotton. The silk cloth is pushed through the instrument using a plastic rod (flute rods sold separately). To use, you simply insert one end of the cloth into the bore of the flute. Once in, you take your rod and gently push the flute through. Give your instrument 2-3 swabs and it’ll be dry as a bone! You can also polish the outside of the flute with the same cloth as well.
