Hagstrom Pat Smear Signature
This is a rock guitar meant for the player with serious chops. This instrument is a combination between the Hastrom H-II and the Super Sweded model. The top of the guitar is a custom carved Maple combined with a Mahogany body. Designed with a set neck, long Mortise & Tenon neck joint, and Mahogany wood outfitted with Hagstrom’s H-Expander truss-rod. This truss-rod provides an instrument with very thin, low action combo that earns the brands reputation for fast playing guitars. The fingerboard uses the company’s patented Resinator composite wood that has a sound similar to ebony while eliminating “wolf tones” associated with conventional wood.
The two Hagstrom custom 58 AlNiCo pickups and 3-way toggle switch give you a variety of sound at your fingertips. In addition to that, you get more control with 2 volume and 2 tone knobs. Mother of Pearl block inlays, art deco designed tuning keys and long travel Tune-O-Matic roller bridge round out the look of a guitar that won’t be ignored!
