Washburn Parallaxe PXL20
The Washburn Parallaxe PXL20 was introduced in 2014 , created specifically for rock, metal and shred guitarists! With over 130 years in the market as premiere guitar maker, Washburn guitars are undoubtedly reputable. The Parallaxe guitar series is explicitly designed with the shredding, metal guitarist in mind. This instrument features a custom carved, 2″ mahogany top, mahogany back and “Idol” body shape. It uses 3 ply binding attached to a full access set neck. The neck itself also features mahogany wood with an ebony fingerboard. It boasts 22 frets equipped with Buzz Feiten tuning system and D’Addario EXL 110 guitar strings.
The 3-way toggle switch gives you access to the EMG 85 pickup, the EMG 81 pickup or a combination of the two. These active humbucker pickups are known for their tight bass, searing highs and massive output. These pickups will satisfy the need of any metal/hard rock enthusiast! The black Tune-O-Matic bridge with adjustable saddles and matching tailpiece finish the design of this guitar and produce an instrument with excellent sustain, clarity and resonance. The headstock is an angled neck, 3 and 3 design outfitted with black Grover locking machine heads. Black hardware is used throughout the guitar which creates a tough look against the white finish. Additionally, mother of pearl fret inlays with the Parallaxe logo at the 12th fret are finishing touches that any guitarist will appreciate.
With a clear, bright tone, enhanced sustain, resonance and single cutaway mahogany body, this high performance guitar emphatically satisfies. All guitarists will agree the Parallaxe PXL 20 not only looks and feels great, but also sounds amazing as well.
