Violin VL-100: Intermediate Violin

Our VL 100 model is a handmade intermediate violin suitable for the advancing player. Upgrade your sound and playing with this fine instrument. This model is crafted after the model of Antonio Stradivari 1715. Carved from highly flamed Russian maple for the back and European spruce for the top piece. With wood that has been aged for 10 years, you will be pleased with it’s rich sound. The instrument is lightly varnished using antique reddish brown for a superb look that does not restrict the wood’s natural sound.

Indian Ebony is used for the fingerboard and pegs, carbon fiber tailpiece with fine tuners and Guarneri style chin rest. French Despiau maple bridge supporting D’Addario Helicore strings rounds out a well crafted instrument that is enjoyable to play and listen to. The VL 100 comes standard with oblong foam violin case and strap with velour interior and matching blanket. Each case has compartments for rosin, shoulder rest, bow and zippered pockets for books and sheet music. The brazilwood bow with natural Mongolian horsehair and ebony frog are also included.
